Hi. For those of you who don’t know, my name is David and I am at the University of St Andrews studying Russian and German.

This blog designed to give people at home a glimpse of what I get up to whilst away and to save me having to repeat myself entirely at Christmas – it won’t be a complete picture, nor is it designed to replace proper communication, but it does at least give you all an overview of what I’ve been getting up to. As there will be a broad spectrum of people reading this, I will try and keep something in for everyone, and I hope that you will continue reading, even if not every post interests you. If anything interests you or you want to know more , please by all means email me with questions, as I will love getting emails from home. If I don’t respond immediately, it probably means I got concussion from some Russian verb conjugation – send me a little reminder e-mail giving me a gentle nudge.

Anyway – I hope you all enjoy reading this and it gives you some sort of flavour of what I’m up to whilst away from sunny Didcot.
